The most dreadful day is coming upon us fast!  After 3 quick months, it's that time again..back to reality..back to work...ohh I never thought this day would actually come.  I remember thinking before I had Mason three months off seems like an incredibly long time, what will we do?!  Not the case at all.  

Nov-Dec-Jan why did you have to go by so quickly? It was a fast three months, but boy were they good ones!  Let's hope Monday takes it's time getting here.

Mark, some me, and some have even said Johnny.  If you ask me, I can't tell at all who <--Mark)  he looks like, all I know is that he's cute as heck.  But as I was looking back through old pictures, I do find a comparison between these two cuties..Mason & cousin Johnny!

Dear 2010: good luck trying to top 2009 !

I have to say 2009 has been the most eventful and significant year of my life thus far!  There are so many things that I am thankful for, friends, good health, happiness, but like always the best part is family.  Especially our newest addition who is loved more than he'll ever know.  Welcome to this world little man, I'm so excited to see what 2010 will bring us! Here's to a HAPPY New Year!

Happy Early Birthday Aunt Kendra!

On December 26, 2009 we celebrated an early Surprise Birthday Party for Aunt Kendra. Everyone agreed that since Kendra is always making everyone else's day special, it was time for us to pay her back.  Everyone did a good job in staying quiet that Kendra was completely surprised, it was great!!! A fun filled night had by all!  Happy Early Birthday Kendra, love you! *I used my video camera more than my digital, so if I ever learn how to post videos, I will be sure to post her entrance!*

It took me so long to upload my pictures, that I missed the posts during Christmas.  I'm sorry this blog is all over the place, maybe someday I can get it straight.  I couldn't miss a first Christmas post though so here it is.  

We had a wonderful Christmas and like always Mason was spoiled by all! Mark was supposed to work the entire day, but was able to leave early.  He made it home that evening, so it was perfect!

  Mason sat in his bouncy seat and stayed awake the whole time! He loves to be around people especially his family!

sleep is precious

I have truly come to appreciate good sleep, and by that I mean more than three hours at a time sleep.  Mason has not quite made it to this level, but is showing tiny signs that we may just make it there by the time I go back to work.  At the beginning of last week, he regressed a little and went from three hours of feeding time down to two.  After trying a few different approaches we have now made it to an almost consistent four hours!  

I also found that my child doesn't want to miss a moment of his life by sleeping it away, he was up the majority of today, but managed to get a few cat naps in, (15-20 minute naps).  Surprisingly he was a happy baby, I don't know how he does it, I sure was dragging! 

He sure is a cute sleepless baby!

I haven't uploaded the rest of the holiday pics yet, hopefully getting to that soon!

i've realized that...

i may just be the worst blogger ever!  why is my blog cut in half and only displaying half of what i posted? i am uploading holiday pictures today, and will hopefully get a post done!  jeesh who knew a short blog would be so hard to post with a little baby. haha. 2010. TBC..
